INTRO TO BOULDERING – NEW

So, you’re new to climbing, and it seems that bouldering is your thing. Alas, you have no idea how to proceed. Behold! Intro to Bouldering! This is a “one-off” class taught by Liz Haas, intended to teach participants basic technique, bouldering etiquette, the grading system, and what to do next in terms of one’s climbing evolution. This class will be offered every other Tuesday and Thursday. Book online or at the front desk.

CHELSEA RUDE: TRAINING FOR CLIMBING PART 1 + 2

Getting “better” at climbing is a lofty and broad resolution. In Clinic # 1, (January 16), professional climber and coach, Chelsea Rude, will teach participants specific climbing drills for improvement. In Clinic # 2 of Training for Climbing, (January 23) Chelsea will cover hangboarding, using the systems wall, and core exercises for improvement. To sign up for this clinic, you must have two years of consecutive climbing experience.
SHOULDER PAIN AND ROCK CLIMBERS w/ ORTHOMOTION

If shoulder pain is getting the best of your climbing sessions, you might want to check in with Lorena of Orthomotion. In this free clinic, she will cover the three most common mistakes that climbers make, how to avoid them, and how to heal current injuries.

Childcare hours are extended for Date Night-In! Join Jen Fuller for a Restorative Yoga class for couples (5 pm – 6:15 pm), or, simply take advantage of the extended childcare and climb on. Leave your tots with the coolest babysitter(s) in town. Oh, and pack your munchkin’s dinner if they need to eat before 7 pm.
