Try outs will be on Sept 4th and 5th and are mandatory for all ages and abilities whether kids are thinking of joining the team or the club. We are requiring this so that the coaches can asses all athletes of all abilities and tailor their training throughout the year. We believe its very important to get a good sense of where all kids are at whether they are totally new to climbing or long-time veterans. If kids are pushed too hard too fast, they never last and kids who aren’t fully engaged get bored and drop out. We will talk to all kids about their goals for the upcoming season and help them plan out a strategy to meet them. We will also be there to meet parents and answer any questions you may have.
