Ara is a New York born, New Jersey bred theater kid turned trad-Dad who mostly likes to boulder. He has been a climber since 2009 and has worked in the climbing industry for approximately the same amount of time in various capacities. He specializes in youth program development, coaching, routesetting, and general shenanigans. His favorite place to climb is Joshua Tree, CA, because he loves getting scared whitless on V2.
When Ara is not climbing, you will find him spending time with his family, walking his dogs, grilling in his backyard, or maybe strumming a guitar. Ara is a little chatterbox, so please introduce yourself next time you’re at EVO!
